SV-252 Bombardier Ski-Dozer (Opinions wanted)

Hey all (NOB) here. I am too old for Snow machines so I am starting to educate my self before launching on a first Snowcat buy. I want an older (Mechanical) machine. I am looking at the Ski-Dozers and wanted to hear opinions, stregnths, weakness.

Use would be mostly back county touring, dropping off ski buddies and occasional runs into town when conditions are beyond driving.

I have tried them all. I hold the sv252 in high regards.

Bit heavy. Good ground speed. More dozer than ultralight snowcat.

I use a sv252 for opening our snowmobile trails. This work involves panning (which i use a 10' wide comb with down pressure.)

Lots of bladeing. And again as dozer part of its name it does really well.

300 six gas.
C6 automatic
Diff cooling pump driven off driveshaft
