Leading feminist group is slammed for DEFENDING inclusion of trans athletes in female sports and calling critics 'white supremacists'​

A leading US feminist group is receiving an onslaught of criticism for defending the inclusion of transwomen athletes in female sports.

National Organization for Women (NOW) shared an article on X about student athletes suing over transgender policies in college sports, with accompanying text that appeared to claim people who do not support trans athletes were 'white supremacists'.

The post said: 'Repeat after us: Weaponizing womenhood against other women is white supremacist patriarchy at work. Making people believe there isn't enough space for trans women in sports is white supremacist patriarchy at work.'

The post was met with over 2,000 comments, many of which were from angry women who said the organization no longer represented them.

One user said: 'You do not support women. You no longer represent us... You are the patriarchy and we reject you... We won't support you.'

Another said: 'You have no business thinking you represent women.'

One user tweeted: 'Simply amazing that the organization that fought for WOMEN'S rights now fights to allow men to subjugate them again. Just incredible.'

Dozens added that NOW is a 'traitor of women' that needs to change its name because it no longer supports women.

The critics claim that advocating for transwomen - people who were born male but now identify as female - to be able to compete alongside biological women is actually the patriarchy.

One X user wrote: 'Women's sports were created to carve out space for women where there was none and now you're defending the infiltration of that space by men. "Making space" for men means [the women's] space disappears.'

Another said womanhood was actually 'not wanting men in our spaces.'

One user tweeted: 'There is enough space for transwomen in sports, as long as they compete fairly in the correct sex class. They're men, not women.'

NOW is currently leading the movement for so called "Reproductive rights" for women. I would suggest that Now has never been about what is good for women, only what is good for feminism.
IMHO, "feminism" has never been good for our society, our families, or for women.

Honestly it seems like 'women's rights' are a lost cause now.

How many biological males have won 'Woman of the Year' awards lately? Granted that is a title awarded by many different organizations but if any of them give the award to a man it seems like men are better at being a woman than real women are at being women!?!

And in sports? WTF! Granted there are some exceptions, but overall, men beat women in competitions. I see it in fencing every month in competitions. Weightlifting? Cycling? Basketball? Tennis? Seriously all day long, every day, men beat women. Pick a sport where trans-women (men) don't generally easily beat (real) women. And at teen level, that could (will likely) knock girls out of scholarships to colleges and that seems to be unfair to me (but as a fencing coach, which is a sport that is 'inclusive' of all Heinz 57 genders), I am not supposed to have this opinion (but I'm 99.999999% sure my actual women fencers agree with my forbidden and apparently controversial opinion).

The "NOW Gang" (as Rush Limbaugh used to call them) was created and funded by George Soros (or another New World Order person) to be divisive. I'm sure they are pissed that women now want to be women and not allow others that think they are women in the group.

Women fought for equal rights and they reap what they sow. Lot of transgendered women are entering women’s sports and women’s prison and I think that’s wrong. There are only two genders. If you have a penis your male and if you have a vagina your a female it’s not rocket science. Knowing your gender is easier then writing a drivers exam.

Fully agreed. There is no shame in losing at sports. What matters is as long as you try your best.

Maybe because I coach at high school and college level I am a bit more aware of some of these athletes, but there actually are a few Female to Male transitioned athletes that are seriously competitive athletes.

Race Walking has Chris Mosier, Mark Beggs in wrestling and Schyler Bailar in swimming are female to male Trans-Athletes. I am sure there are more, but those three seem to stand out.

That said, they are, I believe exceptions to the more common rule.

I think the woke gender horsesh!t first appeared on my radar 20-ish years ago, when Serena Williams had set some major record in the sport. NPR had John McEnroe on as the expert commentator to weigh in on it. During the interview McEnroe called Williams the greatest women’s player of all time. NPR’s woke host said “Why do you call her the greatest women’s player? Why not just the greatest player?” McEnroe replied “Because she’s not. She couldn’t beat the 800th ranked player on the men’s side.”

It instantly became a ridiculous, fabricated made-up controversy, and McEnroe took a ton of heat for it. Williams got sucked into the drama & gave an interview where she made it clear she didn’t completely agree with McEnroe. She said she probably could beat the 800th ranked men’s player. But certainly not the 100th ranked. She said she had a hard time playing against her male coach, and he’s not even a pro. He’s a… coach. She went on to say that given the physical disparities, she wasn’t so sure it could be said that men & women were even playing the same game.
