Ya MIght Think I Am Nuts and I Don't Care

Gone But Not Forgotten
This winter has to be the worst winter I have ever experienced. You see if you make a living fixing, replacing furnaces and air conditioners you tend to like the weather somewhere colder than -20 and warmer than 90 with some high humidity levels. Anything in between is not good for business. Well you all know the weather has been way too warm this year. So the only business making money right now is LBrown's Kubota dealer since Larry is mowing his yard already this year.

But yesterday the weather started to drop here and she is sitting right at -12 right now with an expectation of -20 tonight. So hopefully my phone will start ringing again. :a1:

I don't care if you don't care: you're nuts! Much as I'd love to hear about bussiness going well for you Murph, I hope this cold spell is a short one!

Of course, I'm one of them worthless customers that fixes my own crap anyway. By coincidence, I heard the forecast and pulled the squirrel cage's motor apart to fix a noisy thrust washer just a couple days ago. Didn't want anything seizing up with this cold!

I understand your frustration murph. Hope business gets better, without sending nasty weather our way.

:winterrulMurph, I'm with you on this.

And if anyone wants a full semi-trailer load of rock salt or 4 to 5 semi-trailerloads of windshield solvent I think I might be able to fix you up this year. This really has been an amazing winter, we had a couple good snowfalls before Thanksgiving and then its been raining ever since. I know a lot of businesses are crying because of the weather. And from the recreational standpoint, I've not seen any of the neighbors out on their snowmobiles, my cross-country skis have been sitting idle all winter and this was the year I was going to teach my daugher how to use X-C skis. But while it is too warm to have any winter sports, the rain and soggy ground have prevented any attempt at any summer activities!

:soapbox: This winter is horrible!:snow_smi:

Don't I know about -20° tonight! High of 2° here tomorrow, and I gotta go change out the starter in the plow truck in an unheated, unelectrified pole barn!
