People get old and plans change.
At 70 yo coming up....life has been pretty good.
Health has been sketchy for the past couple years......and after a bout with cancer back in 2012.....been slipping slowly downward.

Snowy Rivers I am a retired firefighter and I meet with my retired brothers every week for lunch. The ages range between 55 and 90 yo. A common discussion is our declining health and how it sucks. Please don't feel you are on your own in these golden years of life. Without making less of your personal health issues I would encourage you to find a group to meet with for coffee and discussion. My spouse is 7 years my senior and we discuss such stuff regularly.....A joint bitching session
Spouse just had a bout with a damned huge kidney stone....Was a nasty 1/2" rock
All better now...They blasted it..

The choice to sell the cat is just a wise one at this juncture......I can't fool myself any longer into thinking I am 45 yo.....
The morning after the night before tells the story....Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

My son in law is a fire captain locally.....He is in his early 40's now....My daughter is turning 40 in May.
The kids don't have a handle on this getting old thing yet.....They will though.....yeah buddy, about another 20 years it will dawn on them.....real hard.
