I can get you one but if you plan to take it back to jersey I'm thinking shipping will be cost prohibitive.

I think several are sold each year. I don't think that they are advertised sales either, but rather prearranged sales.

I have several names I will call if and when I sell mine, as they are wanting to buy it. I won't need to advertise it.

I think this happens alot, with Snow Tracs. Quite popular they are.

If you see one listed for sale you better not hesitate. One sold here in a couple of hours a few years ago.

are those track guides taller on the big bogie model than they are on the older models? - I don't remember the track guides on my old SnowTrac being that tall - I should remember too after the number of times I drove out of the tracks and had to get them back on again - lol

Thank you for all the responses - Alaska at this time is a bit far and my budget - will try to FUP on the one in Upper Black Eddy if still available not to far from me.

I need to do my homework when it comes to shipping to - I have a lot to learn.
Thanks again for all the feed back.

Yes they are taller on the three band big wheel models. I am thinking that is what you must have been running, as the two band models rarely do such a thing. Knock on wood, it's never happened to me yet... But I do keep them tight too...

The taller wheel guides run on the inside of the drive sprockets, scraping the ice off the drive sprockets (there are Ice scrapers for two band models for this) and get damaged fairly easily I have read anyway... And they are harder to find if you need some as well. Lyndon has some threads here regarding this issue.

I understand this completely, I drove a fair distance to sit in one and it was the best thing I ever did, They are a little smaller than they appear in photos when you are in lust with them.

If you find yourself in the midwest, I am straight north of chicago 4 hours or so. you are welcome to take one for a spin and try it out. good luck with the hunt it seems timing is everything. they are around.

I had the small wheel model back before the internet and the wonderful resources we have now - parts and advice fell into the same category as hen's teeth - there was an outfit in Edmonton that had been an outlet for parts, but they had stopped when I needed parts - I was able to get the last variator belt they had in stock, after that I was out of luck for anything - I kept it going for several years using parts made for other uses, until neighbor kids vandalized it, then I gave up on it - took a five acre field to turn if the snow was packed - forget turning at all if it was on sod - I'm looking forward to my tucker coming to my yard tomorrow
