WTB: Snow cat in Central BC

Alpine

Member
I am new to the forum. I am seeking a snowcat project close to me (Prince George region...anywhere in BC works, but maybe ill strike gold close to me.

Thiokol spryte style cats, looking to basically rebuild something for alpine pursuits, cabin access, maybe put a rear cab on it, light people hauler 2-6 people, and i will inevitably put a blade on it as well.

Open to anything really, just want to build something up, restore etc.

Let me know! Thanks, and I really enjoy the forum (am new member officially)

Cheers!

there was a sprite on the west coast not to advertised not to long ago, also some where I saw a gas powered 2100 for sale. they are a real beast in the steep deep stuff but are 12 feet wide you would need to build a passenger cabin on it however they can be had pretty inexpensively for a runner just because they are wide also the center mount operators cabin can make long rides better with less pitching.

Bombardier SV 200 1971 has come up locally...
can anyone point me towards what i should/could be paying for it?

All i know at this point is that it runs and drives.

Really appreciate it.

that one is at Elmondorf I have seen it before I believe it belonged to range control. it should have been well maintained and cared for.

its a auction machine, unless its a ex fleet machine you never know what you may find wrong with it,or if its been maintained proper. look for cracks in frame and body, check suspension for bad arms, look at tracks for tears and grouser cond, paint is cheap, diff repairs can quickly make machine very expensive,

its a low usage rig I've seen it years ago parked out at range control by 6 mile lake they also had an old buzz bomb on static display out there.
