Looked on ebay and there are some models going for hundreds of dollars. May have been a special build or run?

They appear rare.

Ouch! I gotta buy headsets first....

Last year I missed out on the head set sale.

If you find something like you had last year feel free to post up your findings. I have hella rally intercoms left over from my rally racing days to use up.

I went with these in my KT-7 . I innerfaced them with the Stereo so when the music is playing and somebody talks the music shuts down and then the sound comes back up very slowly after they stop talking . As the operator, my headset overides everyone else if they are talking . It took a couple days to set it all up , but it works well .

SoftComm Aviation Headset - Great service.

The main control is the radio unit on the far left in the picture .You can just see the unit in the very corner . Very small and it will fit just about anywhere you want to place it . I put all my equipment and gauges in the overhead dash I built .

Currently looking into the Radio Shack NASCAR scanner/intercom setup. I think I can get a 4 headset system built for under 300 bucks if everything goes as planned. Lots of options out here, but staying under $500-600 for 4 headsets is looking like a challenge...
The setup I sold last year worked really great, but was from an orphaned company, so adding headsets or piping music in was not an option. Nice, clean, compact VOX setup though.

Hey Al, nice looking machine!
I looked into avcomm setups, and even used, they seemed to be more $$$ than I am willing to spend. Yours looks great and I bet it works just as good. Thanks for the pics!
