Canada's worst air disaster occurred today when a small two-seater Cessna plane crashed into a cemetery early this afternoon in central Newfoundland.
Newfie search and rescue workers have recovered 826 bodies so far and expect that number to climb as digging continues into the evening.

On the same subject matter, do anyone remember the crash in Gander (central NL.) that killed everyone onboard a few years back. I think they were American troops returning home wasn't it...

Every time I go to the east coast of the island I pass along side it. The end of the runway is on one side of the road & the monument is on the other just about a mile from the highway...
