Wireless printers

Our old Lexmark printer did an alright job and was wireless but was 10 years old and wasn't working with Windows 10. So we decided to pick up a. New printer on sale a few weeks ago. It's an hp envy 7640. Top feeder. Wireless. Scans. Emails. Faxes. Etc. Awesome printer. I was even able to setup my Samsung galaxy s3 to wirelessly print to it from an app download. I find that very convenient since every week I get an email with the list of songs we're doing on Saturday. I can now print the email right from my phone without having to log into my laptop. Full price on the printer was $199. We got it on sale for $79.

Nice printer NR. It's time for me to upgrade as well. I really like the idea of wireless.

That's a great price!

I have a newer HP and am liking it as well.

A couple things I've learned about these new printers:
Can't speak for other brands but HP has incorporated some kind of smart crap where the printer can read the expiration date on the toner cartridges. That forces you to buy new toner whether you need it or not. Some of their printers allow an override/ignore of the expiration date. I wouldn't buy one of their printers that didn't have this override.

If you have multiple network connections (e.g. I have 2 routers + extenders...), to print/scan or otherwise, your computer/phone/iPad or whatever has to be connected to the same network connection as the printer.
