Winter has arrived

Well we got our first signifigant snow fall here in Trapper Creek, Alaska. 13" of wet heavy stuff. Hopefully this is a sign that we will have a deep snow year.:clap:

i herd about it on the irlp morning net this morning we just got a dusting here in nome but inland got enough to stop pickup trucks and i'm looking at having to take the snow trac out week after next to winterize equipment that didn't get out before the rivers started to freeze.
 
There are two seasons up here, construction season and winter. Or at least it used to be, now a days we construct pretty much all year long.
 
Send some of that up here! It was +2F this am. Got about 3 inches total so far this winter. Been watching the clouds over the Alaska range waiting for them to fall into the valley...
