So sorry to hear, Jim!! It's hard to lose your helpmate of so many years. Hopefully soon you'll be able to carry on.

Some of us were missing your posts here. I was thinking about you just a few days ago, and your absence here..
Prayers sent. I pray you will have much brighter days ahead.
 
So so sorry Jim. Must seem like living a nightmare. I worry about passing and leaving my wife or her passing and leaving me. I can't imagine how to handle that happening. Take it a day at a time and do your best to chug along I suppose. Hope you don't mind a few prayers coming your way. I can only imagine how tough it must truly be.
 
Jim, I don't know what to say other than I know the pain of losing a spouse, all too well.
Keep grieving, don't hold anything back.
Surround yourself with family and friends and stay busy.
You were very fortunate to have her for all those years.
One day the hurt will pass (promise!).

So sorry Jim. I know there's nothing that can take away your pain. Hold on to the good times. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
 
Jim I can't begin to understand your pain and the emotions that are running though you mind but our prayers are with you now and hope that the support of all your friends will give you some peace.

I am very sorry to hear that. My parents were married for about 36 years, too. She died of parkinson's. He's now single, lives with one daughter.
