Why do i have a cat?

Very nice cabin , and the Imp to get you there ,your all set . Ours is only a mile from home ,more of a place to get warm/eat lunch when cutting wood . Lots of sleepovers when the kids were young .....but time flies...

Mine is 50 miles from home base. Gets a little sketchy getting up there with the 4x4 and not possible unless some kind soul plows the road. Either way it's just a quarter mile hike in if necessary, then fire up the Imp...clear my driveway... and go to town!
Built the cabin 25 years ago with trees off my 40. Best thing I've ever done for myself. 100% off grid, solar and battery powered, good for several days even without sun. 3000 watts of AC power, 300 gallons of water buried for year round needs and a spring to fill it up come summer. Composting toilet, wood and propane and used-oil stove heat as needed. The only luxury is Sirius XM radio that I bought a one-time lifelong subscription 20+years ago for $400. Life is good, then you add a snowcat! I am positively drooling waiting for the white stuff to dump.
Videos forthcoming as the season progresses.
