White House silent as oil production reaches record numbers

Maybe sleepy Joe is realizing he doesn't have the control that he thinks he does.

The White House was silent this week when asked about the increasing levels of crude oil production in the U.S. even as President Biden continues to push an aggressive green energy agenda.

Field production of crude oil hit 13.3 million barrels per day in late December, the highest level ever recorded,

It is just one more of Biden's initiatives that isn't working.

That said, we need this production.
It takes 1800 gallons of diesel fuel to produce enough Lithium for one Tesla battery.
See post #6937 in "Toons for the Times."

If you're claiming memes as fact we are all in trouble.

Thats good news. But will it hold.

Thats not a meme, 15 tons of CO2 go to the atmosphere for every ton of lithium mined. Also leaving toxic materials and water behind. Then there is the carbon footprint to refine the Lithium, logistics and the manufacture the battery. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Yeah and I'm sure it's probably correct. But a meme that's proved horribly incorrect in another post. Take it as you will. There's lots of people that exaggerate. Did you mean to put this in the other thread? This one was about oil production.

No just setting the record straight. I did post it there also

That answer is hardly proof I'm wrong.

Besides, it is well known that much of the mining is done by impoverish enslaved children.

Is that better?
Try again.
I did check the other thread. It was pretty easy to disprove.

Then, with all due respect, show the proof here.

That is how we, other members, all learn truths.

BTW, THIS is not a meme

Are you fine with this?

Because our government, which outlaws child labour here, has mandated we drive electric cars, children of the third world are sacrificed.
On a positive note, our policies provide work for the poor in foreign third world countries. (n)

You posted it in two places. I rebuttled on the other thread, if you'd like me to post the same information and a thread about oil prices, I guess I can.

That's a choice every consumer has to make. I chose to buy my vehicle that uses lithium produced in the US. So if you're telling me these mines in the US are using child labor. Maybe you should do something about that. It's quite interesting when I debunk something. You guys say the finish line always changes. Threads have a habit of starting on one subject and you keep changing the subject until it's something you think you can win. Have you noticed that?

So, your "Proof" is an electric mining truck
SO typical.

From where does it get it's electricity?

As I have pointed out before, I always chose electric forklifts in my companies, even when I worked for others. This because they were quiet and reliable. Lower maintenance and longer service life compared to gasoline or propane models. Higher initial cost meant I had to talk hard and tough to the bean counters and managing boards.

And so, trainloads of coal powered them. My efforts did not, in any way, reduce my carbon footprint.

That said, when EV's achieve that level of performance, I'll be interested. They are a long way from there. And the steps being taken to get there defy our own laws here in the USA. So, we exploit others. It's no wonder we are hated.

To the point of this thread, we have produced more oil than ever. Which means our efforts to electrify have not lowered our dependence on the so-called fossil-fuels.

Or saved one polar bear or blade of grass.

No, my proof on your meme is Google the amount of fuel a 944h uses. That debunks it by itself. FYI it's 60 gallons an hour.

At first, I was hesitant to invest in the Elon Musk endeavor because of the exploitation of children in places like India and Afghanistan.

But I had an inside track with my brother who is a subcontractor.
Tesla has been working on a new battery that uses sulfur, a common element in great supply, and aluminum, the most plentiful element on the planet. The new battery has at least ten times the capacity and charges faster. And so,,,,,;

WALA !,,we may have a product coming that will work and be attractive for many Americans.

All we need now is generating capacity to handle the load and source of energy besides coal and NG to please the ignorant greenies

Perhaps the government can stop telling the people what they must buy and provide legislation and programs that deliver the service to the public to whom they are supposed to be responsible.
