She was SNORING deeply, possibly dreaming.
She and I took a long walk today at our favourite spot.
Actually I was huffing and puffing after a brisk 20 minute stroll, then had to pick Her Highness up and carry her for the remaining 10 minutes of my 30 minute walk.
She crashed out and started snoring.. LOUDLY.. so to test her depth of snooze, I pushed her doggie lips up over her teeth and they stuck that way.
Perfect opportunity to snap a funny photo.
Poor Gretch... if she only knew ...:tongue:
I love my baby doggie....:wub:

Agree with you there Jan.
Both are intelligent and seem to be able to read your mind at any given time.
A friend of mine has a yellow lab (Daisy) that dog is the most adorable bundle of love and intelligence.
Dogs period are lovely creatures.

You asked for it with that hammer: I can just imagine the two of you fighting over which to put in the DVD on Friday nights, Doggie Does Dallas or Dallas Does it Doggie! :yum: :yum: :yum:
 
I don't think we have a puppy anymore; she's mutated into a paintbrush. :mrgreen: The patches are natural, but the dots and lines are alkyd-linseed paint! Just a bit over-zealous about trying to help out. :yum:

Actually me and Ms Weenie have a pretty tranquil life.
She loves me unconditionally, and I love her the same, except for when she tries to snap at me for taking the chew chew away when it's time for bed.
She's way too loud with the munching and crunching sounds while I try to drift off to dreamland.
Usually she wins.
I turn on NPR and listen to talk radio while she falls asleep with rawhide in her mouth. :)

Heck , if You listen to NPR ,You should be able to go to sleep with someone jack hammering outside. That's not exactly riveting commentary that they do :rolf2:

That's why I used baby gates at the doorways this past weekend while painting the bathroom.

The first time I caught her "helping out" I tied her up, but then she wound up licking and brushing over it later anyway. So, I just give her a pillow and a chewtoy and let her watch me, and she winds up with less paint! go figure. Of course, I don't think I make a very good example for her [dang I'm kinda ugly, but not to bad of a photo for taking in the mirror - gotta get my wife to start using the digital more, it's not that scary :mrgreen: ]:
