Does anybody have any idea of what a 1984 sv252 is worth? It has roughly 1800 hours and is in great shape. It has the 4 man cab on it. Thanks

If it has the 300 cid. Ford and the C6 auto trans IMHO it is worth more than one with a manual trans, or the Perkins diesel..

Very capable machine, and useful with a blade for moving snow.. A bit heavy for the really steep and deep, but still capable. The 4 man cab is a big plus..

If you stay on trails the quad tracked trucks maybe fine. But in deep unpacked snow, my bet is the old 252 would be pulling them out...

So it depends on your useage. As for price, less than $10K, more like $8K imho. And at that price I would want to take a look at the ring and pinion gear in the differential first..

quad not stuck-----no lockers---didn't even have a winch on this one--stopped for a pic.

Looks like it does a great job of getting traction from the ground...

Through the snow, not over it?

It may work well.:flowers: I guess the SkiDozer is more my speed..

I sold my last 252g for $6,000 and felt I sold it too low. Had much higher hours and thought I should have asked $7500. your with the ford/automatic and low hours plus the extra passenger cab should be up in the $10,000 area. looks very clean !!! just an opinion!! good luck!!
