I was banned for 3 days wasn't I?
Well, in the grand scheme of things, looking back on it now.. I have taken it all in stride.
Being one who has been a member on this forum long enough to actually know the minds and hearts of a lot of you, has given me pause to reflect.
1. You listen to warnings from moderators and you take the higher road.
(I didn't, so the last straw broke the proverbial camel's back).
I have learned my lesson about a lot of things.
2. Even though you'd previously been considered at times 'the forum housekeeper' though not a mod, sooner or later that's going to get you in a bind.
3. I do have my favourite members to be sure, but that's just like anything else isn't it?
I don't know some of you just as I don't know Mr. or Mrs. X walking down the street, but being one who deals with people on a very personal level daily.. I am open to getting into the minds of forum members, just as I am with a new patient or a stranger on the street.
It all depends on the honesty and what I can see from observing.
Nurses are like that, yes we are!
A lot of the friendships forged here have been REAL and tangible in many ways. We are like a family with a few that refuse to see that.. but that's their thing, not mine.
4. I never thought I was invincible around here, nor have I EVER tried to run off any or all female members. There was one instance with A member.. the other was a spammer.
I am still going to be sassy and piratey.. but perhaps with a gentler approach from now on.
This place means more to me than I'd care to share.
Even if it is just a internet forum.
From the heart,
Loralei
