What breed mix is this?

Two days, two "new" dogs in "foster care".

Pic is of the "lost" dog found during the fourth of July celebration in town (an announcement was made over the intercom system about him as well). No one claimed him, and being we're the humane society, well, he came home with us. Have no clue as to his heinz 57 mix, and was wondering what some of you thought.

In the last pic, the white one came in on July 3rd, his name is Sam.

On that note, still no name for the brown mix dog, we're trying to come up with a name for him on the day he was "found" (July 4th) but open to suggsestions.

Dog in question is small, maybe 10 lbs soaking wet.

Thanks

Kind of looks like a pug got diddled by a shepherd. I can't see a pug diddling a shepherd but you never know.

Give him a nice simple name like "Sam" as in Uncle Sam!

We think somewhat alike as far as breed mix.

I also thought of Sam, but since the other "new" dog is named Sam, we want to stay away from two dogs with the same name. I first thought was Lucky because he was lucky we were there.
