pretty much looks home made. looks like it has front and back brakes! lower the front flap going downhill to stop and when you back up you lower the back one.........

I would have never guess that was homemade!

Is that a Skoda? Or a FIAT?

I'd love to get a better picture of the driveshaft connection.

Wonder how it turns, there are two posts (things) coming down under the front axle, but they could just be support? Maybe it only goes in a straight line.

The car is Russian I believe, and if you look in one of the threads in this snow cat portion, some where there are pics of rigs like this. And of course the many variations of air powered machines. You can almost see the car's drive shaft comming down to the rear of the chassis......

Regards, Kirk

I see the drive shaft, or what I presume is a drive shaft, but I don't see any way to make it turn.

That thing on top is a Lada, it could be a Fiat but then it would be located somewhere in Europe. Just looking at the condition of the buildings (and "architecture") I bet this was snapped in Russia.

That thing must eat a lot of U-joints! :D Always love the low-money ingenuity!

Btw. Russians actually have a lot of clever stuff...

most of those steer by applying one brake left or right seperately for turning they will turn but it puts a strain on the differential . I think the posts are just supports.

Here's another example of Russian engineering ;)
