What Are You/Did You Have for Dinner?

I know that it is kind of a cheesy (no pun intended) topic for a thread, but I am truely curious as to what others eat for din-din.

I am making meatballs with pasta and garlic bread here at home (also a favorite at work). We eat early in my family so dinner is in about an hour. What about the rest of you?

I just fired up the grill to make a couple of ribeyes for us for dinner.

Tonite was called in sandwiches. meatball sandwiches With just me and the lovely Holly, we do this a bit. We were spending the whole day together, went to lunch at Culvers, and an auction this evening. Kind of chilling in front of the tube.

Normally we will cook dinner since both breakfast and lunch is usually drive thru or fast food for us.

Having pork chops and mashed taters. We usually eat a late dinner, not at my request mind you. Probably eat around 8:30.

I made spaghetti and meatballs, with hopped up garlic bread. My own style ofcourse. Followed by my custom made Chex Party Mix, chased by a couple Killians. Am I a gourmet or what?

Stopped at Arby's on the way home.

No offense, but I got food poisoning at Arby's once many years ago and haven't eaten there since. I did love the BBQ beef sandwiches though.

I had "Kizka" which is a Polish/Slovak "blood sausage" made with meat scraps, cow blood & barley in a natural casing. In the case of this sausage, you remove the casing and just eat the insides, which come out loose and end up as a pile on the plate. A similar version is called Hurka, which is made with rice instead of barely.

Let's just say that it is an aquired taste. So much so that my family will not be in the same room as me when I cook/eat it. Oh, and it smells too.

You and I are having the same thing for dinner? Does this mean I will get lucky with the sheep tonight? :string:

Throw a slice of cheese on them before you grill them. Don't know why, but then they're called Tuna Melts.:smileywac :boobies:

It was the wife's turn to cook. She made Pistachio Chicken. It is boneless / skinless chicken breast that is "breaded" in Pistachios and then deep fat fried. Then she puts it in the oven to cook for an additional 20 - 30 minutes. I made the rice pilaf. She makes some green vegetable that I don't eat. I don't eat any green cooked vegetables. Salad and home made salad dressing and then finished off dinner with a piece of home made cherry cheese cake. She likes to bake. I like to eat. :D

John you can have Ursla back, expect your diet to deteriorate though! I think shes some sort of user though, keeps going on about she needs grass to live  I think the drug police are here !

I felt adventurous and had spaghetti with chesse on top, eaten out the pan, naturally ;) Or was that for lunch? One of the 2. Wait, I might have had an Indian takeaway, might have been Sat though :D

A little late (as it's the next morning).
Last night was a rump roast and scalloped potatos.
We eat a lot of beef, otherwise a little chicken, pork, fish...
Mrs Zoom and the kids like pasta dishes but the red sauces give me heartburn so I don't eat it much.

The same happens with me. That's what the Zantac is for.

Except for a nice lasagna, most pasta dishes don't do much for me. After all, how many different shapes do you really need that all taste (pretty much) the same.
Yep, Zantac, Pepcid A/C... I go through quite a bit of them.
