took a ride to the wind farm this weekend and than down the back side to do some ptarmican hunting didn't see any bit snow conditions were awsom in the lower aeras 3to 4 ft of powder here are som pics from this weekend temp was about -20 so the lighting was good i didn't want to get out of the cab too much one pic was of the wind farm and one of the bv 206 i keep running and one for sledhaus our local m7 with its modified top.

Thanks Don. What I said about wanting to go along on one of your adventures, ....minus 20 and windy....... when does spring come up there?

I left that minus 20-30 stuff in North Dakota thirty years ago and only need a brief reminder now and then as to why.

I've been in the "banana belt" of MT now for 25 years and have gone soft I guess.
 
come the end of feb and early march sun stays up till 8 to 10:00 at night afternoons get up to the 30s and you still have some time to play planning on a caribue hunt during that time wanted to go sooner because i need the meat in the freezer but the days are shortand still not enough snow on the ground the open flats bang you up pretty good temp is up to 18 today feeling prety good
