It is very interesting, to say the least. I have exchanged e-mails with this soldier (his name is Danjel Boot) and, regardless how you feel about the war, he has a perspective from the front lines that is very worth reading.

A buddy of mine just got back for Iraq last month. He was there for 18 months. Cowboy nailed it! Our guys need all of the positive reinforcement we can give them, even if it is just to say hello and offer some moral support. The "mail bag" is a BIG deal with soldiers, sailor, airmen, and marines; even the electronic mail bag.
