Last week we had a serious storm, knocked out DaveNay's Cat II barn door, but I got off without damage. Earlier today we had a front roll through, knocked out our power for about 8 hours. Now we have another fast moving front moving over. 90 mile per hour winds + Tornado warnings. I'm home with the dogs, Melen is up at the Fencing Club where the storm is reportedly worse. The lovely Mrs_Bob is on her way through the storm to get Melen. The club is in the basement of a concrete and brick building, probably the safest place to be, but my wife is very protective.

At the speed this one is going it should roll across SOUTHERN MICHIGAN in an hour and should hit Ohio in a few hours. Keep your heads low.

I'm just hoping we don't loose power again. I don't mind running the generator but the generator is too small (12,000 watts) to run the air conditioner for the house so it gets way to humid if the AC is off for more than about 8 hours. I'd like to sleep tonight

Remember Global Climate change is a hoax and not caused by man, so get prepared for natural forces.

I'd love one of the automatic systems, but really as long as this one lasts I'm pretty happy with this. I've had it for at least a dozen years. When I put this one in the auto-systems were not really widely available. They are obviously popular now but were not back then.

So far we've had the power flash off twice, only for a second or two, in the past 10 minutes.

Many of us believe that the climate is changing but do not attribute it to man. Many of us see it as a natural event that runs in cycles and has been shown to exist throughout history, no reason to think history is not repeating.

I was simply yanking your chain guy. I couldn't find the right emotion for some reason, having a bit of computer problems tonight due to weather also.
