Are you looking for a GPS for tracking or a navigation unit for driving? I have a Garmin GPS 12 with car charger and RS232 connector for computer interface. On e-bay it's going for an average of $80- $130. I guess it's not the throw-away I thought it was. I used to use it for mapping lake routes during the day so I could find my way back to camp at night in Canada. Works fantastic!
 
keep watching around. We found our GPS last year at Kohl's on Black Friday for something like $49 after all discounts. I didn't want to spend much money on one because I didn't think I would use it. This has been a strange year for us. We've actually travelled (not far, just around Ohio/KY) quite a bit this year. It has been fantastic. For the price I have in it, I couldn't be happier. Maybe one of these days I'll get one with a larger screen, but for now this one has done everything we've asked of it.
 
I have an old magellan GPS 310 that is for tracking not maps check it out if you are interested let me know. Mike
 
i am not sure mike. i need something for driving directions. that would be helpful when i go for some of my long walks in the woods tho i guess.
