Wall Street protest

Obama is pitting those that work and are prosperous against those that are "Poor".

This is sadly what Hitler did in the 1930's by blaming the Jews for Germany's downfall, and with Obama giving the Protesters on Wall Street backing by blaming the rich for America's downfall, this isn't going to turn out good.

I grew up poor in a family that had a dad that worked at least two jobs to make ends meet. I started working at 12 to make money for school clothes. I started working at 14 sliming Salmon in summer and worked riverboats in Western Alaska at 16.

After getting out of the Coast Guard, I got one unemployment check, bought a chain saw with it and cut/sell firewood to feed my family. Never went back to the unemployment office for a second check. I know what down and out is! I have done very well in life and did do without the Government's help!

I see these protesters on Wall Street and they are not the "People that lost jobs". There may be a few there, but these people are there in response to Obama's call the make the rich pay! This is class warefare and is in direct response to Obama's claims to incite these misguided youth.

These are well educated people and not at wits end, if that was the case they would be in Washington where the passage of laws are made that affects their ability to find work.

They are interested ancharchy not jobs.

I had a debate about this and was told the protesters were truely the downtrodden, I beg to differ and was accused of being a bigot and insensitive.

I agree. I haven't seen too many of the protesters that looked like they needed a meal. Many of them are using their cell phones and ipods to call in their complaints.
In any event, when they are interviewed, they have no clue why they are there, except they want free loans, free education, free stuff. Their anger is misplaced. Not a single bank or broker could have done what they allegedly did without the express consent of Washington .

Actually, they have been asking for (more like demanding) free iPhones, iPads, and other techno-goodies. They
"need" these to get their "message out".

(They have announced no plans to return any such donated items.)

Follow the money. Wanna know whose supporting these bird brains? Just watch who's donating the goodies. Simple as that. Wait until the weather turns cold. They'll be demanding warm shelter, expensive designer winter clothes (Some capitalist companies like Apple, BlackBerry and Northface are OK on their list).

I watched an assortment of news channels and checked out their websites to see if I was missing something. What I found was even more disturbing. These people want to have a defining moment, like the shooting of the four students at Kent State Univ. These people aren't the ones that are in true need of work, most are just out of college and are living off their parents dime.

They know most of America isn't behind them and they want something to bring them sympathy. Couse their marching into Rich neighborhoods and scaring the hell out of people that live there is going to only be a prelude of what is to come.

Obama embracing them is so much a roll back to Hitler, Mao and Lennon it is scary. I truly believe he plans on staying in power by having these clowns riot during this next years G7 summit in America to declare Marshall Law, them try to Void Next years elections to stay President.

I think IMHO, that the "Fast and Furious" program was designed to put guns from America into the Mexican Drug gangs hands to create massive bloodshed as an excuse to take American's guns to "Stop" the killings. It clearly backfired and now they are claiming it was to trace the guns to the gangs... They did no tracing of any of them except at the crime scenes, from local law enforcement when American Boarder guards were killed and the guns were traced to the program.

People aren't going to buy the Marshall Law and Obama screwed up when they failed to take the guns from Americans.

Our founding fathers were correct when they said we needed to be armed to protect from enemies both foreign and domestic!

In Germany, Russia and China all has very strict gun control and the people were slaughtered by their own Governments!

These clowns protesting the "Rich" isn't about jobs, it's about socialism and they are just stupid pawns.

Yes, sadly I mean a "Kent State" moment to make them a martyr for their for their cause. These are not the poor unemployed people that they claim wanting work, they want to create a socialist society out of the ashes of what we have now.

+1 on that. I'm not so certain most of these brainiacs ever heard of Kent State much less spell it. They're not that deep. Very shallow crowd.
