It has taken years of unbelievably bad government and insane poverty to snap very simple minded people into realizing the "gov" is here to take from you, not provide for you. The same has gone on here in the US for even longer, except it has been curtailed to ALL the top 10 major US citys and a couple very politically strategic states. Had our founding fathers not been some of the most brilliant men on the planet and not specifically designed a very rare kind of Republic, then we would have devolved into Venezuela in the 1960s. As Americans we are so incredibly fortunate, and have a really bad habit of assuming, eventually a few good people in government will pull back the inevitable brisk march to socialist Marxism.
