georgette, is your cat a DMC 1200 With spryte lower cab (red portion) or a thiokol Spryte with a DMC upper cab (yellow portion)?

The tag says 1200c thiokol spryte. Thats what I thought it was?? Why do you ask... do you see something other than the difference in color that would make you think otherwise?

The square headligts. Some dmc's had round but most had square. I have an early 80's dmc 1200 that has that same yellow cab! Not to many with the single side window....and the wood paneling on the inside!

I also have a 86 lmc 1200 that is also yellow

My dmc has a roll bar and the data tag is mounted on the bar, typically the data tag is on the dog house on a spryte. Post some pics of the inside of the machine.

Heres 3 pictures. I only had my cell phone with me. The cab is all insulated, its quite warm inside when the temperature dips to -60c (-76f). I also have a yellow roll bar right behind the front seats. Next time I have my good camera out ill take better pics of inside Georgette. It isnt that cold at the moment but it does get that cold here.

My machine gas tank filler is on the opposite side. Our interiors are looking almost the same. I do have holes on my rollbar that look like they are in the right spots for a placard. (4 holes 2 on each vertical bar) The tarp goes up when the temp gets chilly... keeps it warm up front.

This machine used to be a DEW Line (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distant_Early_Warning_Line) machine when the US Military was up here back in the day.

glad to see I'm not the only honkey living up here in the frozen north. looking at your pics I can see Thiokol hasn't changed keys much my 2100 has the same ignition switch.
