I fear for apple tree's and anything that is not prepared for a freeze this morning. It will do alot of damage for sure, as far along as the plants and trees are right now. Mother nature is a cruel thing at times, and this morning is one of those. I have yet to plant, and am glad I waited...

Even colder tonight is the forecast.....Not good.

Regards, Kirk

Glad I held off on the garden and planting fruit trees. Will be going below freezing each of the next 3 nights.

Yep, the early bloom with these temps can be a real issue.

Had a little snow about 15 miles north of us. No frost this morning as the wind is blowing too much for that. Tonight will be colder and should have snow tomorrow morning then change to rain. You can barely tell we watered the fruit trees we planted last week. Wind has the ground dried out to powder. Rye is about 2 inches out of the ground and the silage peas are just starting to emerge. My peach trees show damage to the flowers and leaves from last weeks frost.
