Turkeys are back for freebies

Gone But Not Forgotten
We have had 11 hanging around pretty regular since mid December. Now they have joined up with a bigger flock from down the hollow. Counted 38 twice in the past week. We dump the old parrot feed out by the corn feeder and the birds have a field day. They like to get grit from the lane also for their crops.

Reminds me of the wild turkeys I used to see along the Auglaize/Maumee River in the fall when I lived in Defiance.

as long as you keep feeding them they will multiply fast.

On another note I know underground pools they let freeze at a lower lever but out of ground I didn't know that was a good idea?

There's snow on the ground and what looks like ice in the pool. Polar Bear Club material...

You have a swimming pool? Damn man, what else you got hidden over there?
Well I do have a 40X80 building that has my boat, mini motorhome, skid steer and RTV in it. As well as 3 big concrete walled stalls with automatic waterers and haylofts above them. The barnyard has a 22X40 leanto off the south end of the building. Out back is the 4X4 Case 580 extend-a-hoe and dump truck and lowboy. On 107 acres there are a few "things" hidden as well.:whistling::yum::yum:
