Tucker w/ rubber tracks 4K$

This machine has been for sale here before. The Kokopelli sticker on the side of the dashboard is why I remember it. Not sure what the deal is on it, as I recall it sold for much more. Could this be a scam?? Seems awfully cheap for a rubber tracked Tucker at this time of the year. maybe too good of a deal? I would be very carefull...

the email that I received sounds like he's having a showing. And an auction Saturday morning. Just buy the wording of the email that's what I'm getting.
 
I posted this a month ago (12/5). It was on the Reno Craigs list, so that hasn't changed.

It must not have had the price listed (or it was MUCH higher) because I certainly would have made note of that!

If someone is close enough to this guy to verify it and see it in person, you would be foolish not to show up with that $4K in your hand. That is WAY underpriced, even if it had other issues like a blown motor. :w00t2:

My Brother lives in Truckee and i worked in the area for many years . That address is off State Highway 267 by Ponerosa Estates . Its got to be a scam or someone from the area would have jumped on it .
 
the address is for Town and country storage yard. Called the number no answer. a convenience thing is the police department is next door. I do not see a snowcat in the Google Earth picture. Not saying how old the picture is?

For what its worth the Tucker is sitting in Truckee Ca. as of this morning . I had my brother drive over and check it out . It was not sold then ??????
 
I talked with my brother again last night . I am now NOT SO SURE it was the same snowcat we have here on craigslist .
Bobby said the Mini storage manager said it was on a chevy truck frame ?????????????Maybe he meant it had a chevy engine ??? WE had one at work that had a 427 chevy in it .
He did tell Bob that there was going to be an auction for it today.
My brother knows Tuckers and has driven them before so someone is really confused .

I contacted them several weeks ago, and the response I got was we have a offer
Of 6500.00 and who ever pays the most gets it? The add said 4000.00?
Never gave phone number ? Gave address that was a storage company
 
Looks to me the seller knew what he was doing when he went to sell it. Offer it at an amazingly low price then hold out for a bidding war But it is fishy not posting a phone number.
