Headed north out to rescue another cat in Maine then bring back by its original home on the way back. As these machines age there is more and more need for an assisted living/retirement home to ease the transition into their next reincarnation. Some may choose rehab once they arrive others may choose to move along to their next life.

It seems that most Tucker's internal compasses point direct to magnetic T out west but some are not fortunate enough to make the journey to Mecca for that warm bowl of milk.

Doing my part back east. We may not have buffalo but as you will see we have plenty of bullshit!

Looking forward to the return trip photos with the relocated Tucker.

Did you find any spare parts where the tucker was???lots og goodies in the junkyard, glad you saved the old girl!!!

What model is that? 442? I would love one like that if I could put newer style terra tacks on it.

excellent save, be careful where you step, hope you restore it back to its original glory, you have the hand of Emmitt gliding you.

I hope you restore it back to the 443 configuration. Photo looks like Mt. Washington from here. That cat has seen some weather.

This maybe an ambitious goal but I would like to see it drive back up mt Washington to its home. A weathered restore would be best for this one.

Clearly it's missing some key components I will need to find.

Great save, old hoarder of the honda in the east.

BTW ( i have a pair of CT110's to sweeten the Imp re-homing :-) )

I am kind of glad the scrap price went back down here in the midwest.

On one hand the machines stay hidden, on the other they are not gound up and remade into man hole covers and bath tubs.

After some r and r for the old girl back home in mt Washington valley soaking up the Rays on the saco 53 is back to mass.

Turns right over good oil pressure. No spark. Never messed with one of these 6 cyl motors. What's the trick? Points plugs wires? What vehicle would I look up to find what I need?

Looks to be part of a hotbox heater ,for heating the engine so it would start at many degrees below zero,on the mountain top."MAYBE"

So vintage power wagon looks like it has most of the items I need for a tune up. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points, and a coil. Hopefully there is an engine tag on the block for the model info.

How do I tell if the system is six or twelve volt? Does it matter as long as I order new 12 volt items? Also I can get a coil with built in resistor. Any advantage to loosing the resistor?

How does ind model 32 265 cubic inch sound? Also this do dad is a fuel warmer of sorts . How did it work? Block heater kept antifreeze warm. Opened valve which allowed fuel to cycle through top of fuel pump?

Is this fuel pump special? Looks like it had been bypassed as is for a while.

Also the heater hose is now where this went. Where would he Heater hose have been?
