Tucker grousers breaking

We have grousers breaking repeatedly on the left rear of our 89 Tucker. It is the wide track model. We didn't have the problem until this year. We have run the machine trail grooming for the past 7 years with few problems.
We can't seem to find any apparent problem that would cause it. The drive sprocket fits the same as the others, all idlers and guides are intact and free.
We have adjusted the track tension to no avail. Is there something we are missing?
It's only the one track that seems to have a problem.

Questions first, Where exactly do they break? Any recent service to any other part of that carrier?

They break just to the outside of where the drive sprocket rides. We haven't done anything to the rest of the carrier assy. as far as maintenance / repairs recently.

Don't rule out the spider gears in the rear. Could be binding when turning.

That sounds like a definite possibility which I didn't even consider. Thanks, I will check it out and post results.
