My friend is selling his 1963 Tucker 442A for $25K, located in Arbon Valley Idaho, here are two adds he has on KSL. I am going to go over to his place today and we are going to drive it around with the Frandee. I will try and get some video of it in case anyone is interested. It has the Ford 300 engine. Two pontoons are steel other two are fiberglass. He did a lot of frame work on it, replaced seals on pieces parts, tore everyone of the rollers apart and rebuilt them, installed a new radiator. Looks pretty good, however the paint job on the cab is a little light, but still looks good. He put new glass in it and a new seat. He has limited cell coverage so it might be hard getting ahold of him, just keep trying, he lives in a remote area. If you can't get ahold of him you can contact me at 208 221-5595 (Dave Stites) and I can either contact him or drive over to his place and let him know.

If there are any photos anyone wants let me know this morning, I am headed out around 11:30 am Mountain time to go over there and will check my messages before I go. I will get some photos of the engine compartment, I see he did not post any of those.

We took the 442a out today and put about 15 miles on it driving around the fields, it did awesome. That Ford 300 does an incredible job.

Here is a short video of it:

Here is a photo of it next to my favorite snowcat, Frandee 37. Yes this was a beverage stop, that is why the Yeti cooler is open:

I would think you buddy would do well to list it on Ebay and or Bring a trailer, sadly it seems a 442 does not bring the money a 443 brings even though they take exactly the same work and maintenance, and the funny part is, a 442 is just as much fun a 443 and just maybe a tad bit more fun and useful...

Dude says he has dropped his price to $19.5K, just passing it along in case someone is interested.

I didn't know they were worth that much, I sold a 1968 model on this sight last year with spare parts for $10,000.00

Saw a nasty BR100 with lots of rust and broken rear glass for $13,500 parked by the Cougar Mountain Lodge on the way down to Boise today. Passed on a similar rig last February near there for $4,500. Might be the same one? Thanks Brandon

She looks smart, I have always wondered how do these machines handle deep snow? I have never used one. I have a Snow Trac, Trac-Master ST4 B and owned a BV 202 for several years. I would be very interested in her except I have a Hagglunds BV 206 arriving next week and even I know when not to "push"the toy budget!
