Tucker 1544 slider height compared to sprockets

I have a 74 1544 that I bought as a basket case. I redid all the track belting and installed new UMHV sliders on the top of the carriers for the tracks to slide. On the top I installed the sliders so the top was just above the base of the sprocket tooth. My thoughts were the sprocket would not carry or very little any of the track strain and just drive the track. My rear ones are slightly lower than the fronts and I am hearing more noise and vibration from the rear. Upon closer examination i see the cleats are not actually flat where the sprocket rides it is a raised half moon which sticks up higher than the part that runs on the slide. Can someone tell me if my slides should be higher at the top of the arch so the sprocket isn’t raising the cleat off the slide when the cleat runs up over the sprocket and then slapping it back onto the slider on the other side. I have attached some pictures if my explanation is poor. I have my old slides which were wore bad on the top part of the arch and thinking back the only way these could wear like they did is if they were originally installed higher than mine are so they would be what is actually supporting the cleat as it rides up over the top of the sprocket

You can see in this picture that the area that the sprockets rides on is a fair amount higher than where the centre part of the cleat rides on the slider. I am thinking that my UMHV sliders should be that same amount higher than the base of my sprocket tooth. Can anyone look at theirs to see how it is set up. I thought about calling Tucker of Tracks inc to see what their thoughts are
