trying to teach my imp new tricks

Well I made a trip to the Kantishna river in my 1404 imp.I was trying to teach it to act like a real snowtrac.I found out you can teach an old imp new tricks!!!but it is not easy.1st pic,trying to teach the imp how to pull a loaded sled like my snowtracs do,2nd pic ,trying to teach the imp how to break trail.3rd pic, trying to teach the limp imp how to not!! stand on his head and roll over coming down this hill!!4th pic,teaching the imp to play dead.How to play dead seems to be the best and last trick he learned.5th pic,I had to unload the snowmobile and drive 40 miles back to my cabin on Totec lake,And I want to thank Jason (Alaska 120)and his son Nick for snowmobiling from town to Totec lake to help me haul all my gear back to town!!! I think I broke a axle on the imp and I know I broke my butt on the snow-go thingy!!!

Ouch, you were going ok when I few out of there. Wasn't until later that night that I was told that you got stuck. Good thing you had the Citation with you...

Hey fogtender,how is the tugawar going?I will be gone from the 7th tru the 14th but then I will have to start thinking about a trip to the Kantihsna river to get the imp.It was doing real good untell it broke a leg.Thought about shooting it with my 454 but got soft hearted.Darn a snowtrac will have to go save the imp.Have fun down there,talk to ya later.

Yeah, I heard you were going off to Vegas to play the slots... I kinda figured you shot the Imp in the Wilderness for the insurance money

Now I know you are going to the Glitter City with the big bucks! I should what... take some flowers out to the Kantishna now?

Things are going pretty good, until I ran the engine with the newly dealer "Rebuilt" blowers and they leak oil into the air-box. Should have done them myself! Anyway, they are under warranty and will be taking them both back off tomorrow after a few more tests and take them back to the big city...

The boat spent it's life in Hawaii and this is the first winter. Anyway, when it got cold, (below 0) the paint has never been chipped and it cracked off in 3 foot square sheets.... Seems that they never chipped the paint, just kept repainting it until it was up to 1/4 inch thick...

Looking at the pic all I see is a cow moose a rabbit and 14 boggie tires and more snow, time for me to take a break and have some fun in the sun,So what now? you get to lay around on your butt and wait for parts or what?I am still trying to find parts for the imp,I wanted to work on it to be sure just what parts I needed,but had to be back in town for trypod days to help in the cafe.But I think it is a busted axle from the way it acts.

Well now that I established that the engine didn't need a rebuild and only the blowers rebuilt, they want to spend the money upgrading the 30 KW Gen to a new 65 KW one. Have to take it apart into little pieces to get it out of the engine room and then take the new one apart to get it back down there too... Then I have to upgrade the electrical panel and then do a "Smoke Test"...

No way, it is acting just like the Snowtracs... makes a trip, breaks down... must be the training program manual that you are using...

Maybe I will loan you my manual when I get back so you won't have all those issues......
