I have a Muskeg carrier that needs some work on the transmission. The tag on the side of the it is New Process Model # 540 Ratio of 7.41 Assembly # 1190009BL6, Serial # 2 23 78 with a casting # C92581.
The transmission is Connected to a Perkins diesel.
The problem with it is that the gears were sitting water in and developed pitting and is ruff on the shifting. I am looking for replacment parts and or a transmission to replace it with. I live in Alaska and I am having problems finding anything. Could somebody HELP???????
