Trailer for trackmaster

man that is nice would love to have one ffor my snottrac yes pintle hith=ch adaptors are available all my trailers have them as it works good to keep people from asking to borrow if they have to drop a buck fifty to get a hitch for my trailer.

I second the vote for the pintle hitch. Most militaries use them. I love 'em. Wrap a shop rag around the hitch and they're virtually silent.

However, if they are the wrong size, they can bind during back-ups.

dds,
Nice reasoning about borrowers!

I never cared much for those mobile home trailer wheels. He has two more trailers ,are they all the same?

the moble home axles can be tough to find parts for especialy brake parts they were intended as one time use. there are now kits out there to use conventional wheels now i don't know about brakes i have been out of it for a few years at the cost of rubber i would get some time out of those tres before i ditch them

$.02

Those Budd style wheels are very durable. If You find a dexter dealer you can find brake parts, timken supplier for bearings and seals, I have been using that style of wheel for cross country travel with a rally racing program zero down time.

I will agree that the mobile home meteric tired wheels may be a pain on a
DOT inspection but I doubt those are from a mobile home.

Utah I doubt you could buy the parts to build a trailer of that quality for 1100.

The wheels should be fine. I don't see a breakaway box and you need one of those for that weight range around here.

I like the steel mesh...To let the tracks drain if above freezing and shouldn't freeze the tracks down to the deck when it refreezes. Tilt looks like it would work easily as well. I'd say go for it.

Best regards, Kirk

in BC, trailer axles, wheels, brakes, and tires, etc, from a mobile home are illegal for reuse - I had a real nice tandem axle trailer built to haul my bobcat and found out the laws the hard way - I was lucky to find someone that needed a trailer for his farm and didn't need it for use on the road

Over here on the east coast if you have the brakes working, tires, lights OK, etc., & your not over the gross rating give er' that.....

To be straight, there are non mobile home versions of Budd wheels. Again I doubt thiokol used mobile home axles.

thinking out loud.
