Track parts

I have found a set of used BR-180 tracks in rough shape.

I have a Bombi with tracks in rough shape. Couple broken Guides, couple bent/smashed guides. Need a couple of aluminum cleats.

I want to combine BR180 rubberized cleats, with bombi track guides and new belting. I figure I would cut the cleats to length and drill and tap as necessary.

Am I nuts?

Could I run the One piece Wheel guide from the BR on the Bombi?

I am the only person to try to put rubberized cleats onto a bombi?

got to talk to the owner of the tracks today, apparently the rubberized Aluminum tracks were a disaster and the company went out of business.
I googled the Br-180 track topic and found quite a bit of upset folks who gave them a try and went back to steel.....

rethinking....

I just bought a well used set of those tracks at a Ritchi Bros. auction for $200. A lot of the cleats are bowed and will have to be straitened before I try and use them. I figured the belts, tire guides and backing plates were worth that much so even if I don't end up using them as is I still should do ok.

I have some used aluminum rubberized cleats if these would work. They are 24" long. They were used to take a machine to a show and then I don't know how much longer they were on the machine but. This is a picture of a brand new one.

I also have these and they are 28" long. This bar comes in a left and right.

I believe there is about 168 of the aluminum cleats and guides. The steel guide and the aluminum guide both belong to the same machine. The steel cleats were part of an asymmetrical track but i do not many of the long one left.
