Nice pics of that wonderful February storm. What I would like to know is how did your cat do in it? Were you floating or sinking down a bit. If you were floating, how wide are your tracks and do you fill your cab with helium?

I'm about 15 mile south of your location at 7200 ft and my Spryte (standard tracks - 8' 4" width) did okay. The 84 inches of snow that fell was very very light. My cat sank down about 2.5 to 3 feet below the surface when making fresh tracks. My front end turned into the blade I don't have. It took me a bit, but I learned that I had to make all my turns while backing up because she wouldn't turn while going forward. When I arrived Friday night, there was a drift covering most of my machine. The snow on the cab roof peaked at 4 feet high. I shoveled a little in front of the machine so the radiator could get air and I could see out, I let it warm up, and then I drove right up and out of its snow hole. Only then could I shovel off the cat.

I was lucky. None of the snow mobiles could travel in the untracked stuff without "post hole-ing" to nearly the bottom of the new stuff. Even my wife was happy that we had a snow cat that night!

we havent had the kind of snows yall have had out there,but what little snow we got in central Il. I was able to get out and play a little and everything worked good.
later on this year i hope I can start getting son mods made to my unit
