Tongue Weight

My tilt trailer has virtually no tongue weight when empty making it prone to wobble. Ant easy way to fix this, other that adding heavy to the front?

Have you looked at anti-sway bars?
Are the axle(s) welded to the frame or bolted on like many boat trailers. If not welded, can you move your axles back to increase tongue weight.

I haven't look into anti-sway bars. The axle is mounted to springs and the springs are monted to the perches on the frame. Would be a tough move....

The tongue is likely too short for the width of the wheels.
Common issue.
Cut and extend the tongue.

Yes. The distance from the axle to the ball should exceed twice the width of the wheelbase, at a minimum.
