Time To Take The Keys Away

Slant Eyed Polack

Well-known member
One of the harder things I had to do over the last decade was take my dad's car keys away. There will come a time when my family will need to do the same with me. I'd like to believe I'll be sharp & reasonable enough to relinquish them voluntarily. On the other hand, I know how stubborn I can be. If it comes to that, my family will need to force the issue.

The American family now has to confront that same issue, and the stakes are exponentially higher than whether or not Biden should be driving his Corvette. The nuclear football was onsite at the debate, handcuffed to the wrist of a military officer.

If the fit hits the shan today or tomorrow, or next week or next month, or August, September, October... the weight of those cataclysmic decisions - that will need to made in 7 minutes or less - fall to a man who can barely express a single coherent thought.

Whether you like or loathe DJT - I lean toward loathing - should have no bearing on that reality.

7 minutes is not enough time toassemble16 experts to advise the President on what to do in response to an attack.

Like I said in another thread, after last night's exposure of the man, Joe Biden, I am a bit scared. We all should be,

You can bet they have somebody, maybe his Chief of Staff, designated as the real decision maker. That to me is the real problem. If the president that the people elect is not really in charge, then we no longer have a representative government. The president is only a figurehead with unelected bureaucrats in the background calling the shots.

Why now is the question? Suddenly the Dumbs are embarrassed, concerned and panic over Bidet's performance. Where was the embarrassment, concern and panic when Bidet was shitting his pants while meeting with foreign heads of state? Where was this consternation when he was publicly insulting veterans and their families. Where was the consternation when he sniffed the hair of a Prime Minister or when he appointed incompetents, criminals and freaks to be cabinet secretaries and department heads.

But the Left is embarrassed now. Today, they recognize a crisis, because they now see that their own hands on the reins of power are in jeopardy.
