TikTok ban

There is no doubt that Tik Tok is currently used as spyware by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). They are trying to negatively influence US culture and create division within the country. It is part of their long game to become the world's hegemon. If we want to prevent this, we must at the very least cut the link between Tik Tok and the CCP.

Trump tried to ban Tik Tok via executive order near the end of his presidency, but the ban was stopped by legal challenges, and Biden rescinded the order upon taking office in 2021, allowing Tik Tok to continue in the US unabated.

Trump has recently said he now opposes banning Tik Tok due to its appeal to younger voters and the idea that its ban would strengthen Meta (Zuckerberg's Facebook and Instagram) platforms.

I think the best compromise would be to not ban it per se, but force the US version of it to come under US ownership without ties nor influence by the CCP, and for this to be ensured and monitored by the US FCC and FTC.
