Thoikol 602 Slave Cylinder

Greetings fellow snowcaters if I may trouble someone that would have knowledge about a OC 15 slave cylinder rebuild kit or is it complicated and just purchase a set of slave cylinders (yikes) I could only imagine the price. Thank you

I getting ready to find out. My situation sounds a lot like yours. I can bleed the slave by turning the cylinder bleeder up and then when I use it brake fluid follows the actuator rod into the differential cavity. Bought a gland nut removal tool for hydraulic cylinders to try to take it apart. Pictures that Modifier posted look like he modified an Enerpac porta power ram to replace one of his slaves.

Received the gland nut removal tool but so far haven't been able to get the slave cylinder apart. Been using Map gas propane torch and no luck so far. Was told to heat the slave in an oven to bring the whole thing up to temperature so I think I'll try that next. Anybody had one of these apart?

Simplex RC-121A. Better quality than the Ram-Pac. Made for hydraulic oil so use DOT 5 silicone brake fluid. Very expensive part ($500, 4 years ago). We do not stock them.
