Why move it? It'll be ok in both places. It looks as if I put it in the wrong place. Feel free to move it doc.
Eh. Throw him back.
Keep the fish.
You'r right, that is one hellofafish. A really nice mount, if ya ask me. And, yea, I'd be smiling like that, too!
Oh Hell ! Out here we call that a little "Guppy" . I've never caught a Guppy that big ,but some day .
Actually I do have "Florida Strain" Large mouth Bass in my private lake . The biggest we caught so far is about 12 pounds that my daughter pulled in . I don't fish much anymore but the kids love it .
WE have one rule : Put them back for the next kid to catch .
I seen grown men damn near start cryin when I told them to release the big ole girls . They always say " Mister ... you don't understand ... This is the biggest fish I ever caught ! "
Ahhhhh .... It warms my heart to break theirs
I have understood you have to "thin them out" some to let the larger ones keep getting bigger.Yea Al, it's still my lifelong mission to catch a 10+ pounder. I've been close a couple of times but still haven't got it. I hire a guide on Lake Fork a couple of times a year just to even the odds a little bit but me and that monster still haven't been at the same place at the same time. Like you, I always release them but if I ever catch Moby Dick, I may have to sit down and think about it for a while. The bass in our lake at the farm are running about 4 to 6 pounds now. I hope I can live long enough for them to get to "keeper" size.
Don't forget the scraps and mushy peas too...i love to put a face to a name.....great picture Frank.
shall i put the chips on to go with that fish
