howdy.
wandered in from ntt - and I can see some topics that could become addictive here.
(Like I need something else to distract me from what I should be doing!) :thumb:

anyway, I live in NE Ks on the edge of the flint hills.
building a house and am hoping that by the time I'm done I can afford to keep it.
1 wife, 2 dogs, and a nasty tool habit.
Hobbies include building things, woodworking, reading, and surfing the net.

not sure what else to add.

Hi Eirk,
I'm glad you joined up over here to. From what you've posted you'll fit right in with this group. ...and scary as it might seem, we talk about everything.

Enjoy and post often!!! :thumb:

Howdy fellow tool addict. It was thought that buy selling the trailer in which my toys resided, subsequently having nowhere to put anything else, that I would be deterred from indulging myself....

NOT!!!

I just built something to take the place of the trailer.

"Where there's a tool, there's a way"

heck,
in order to justify my tool habit, I agreed to build SWMBO a house! (little did she realize how many MORE tools I would need to do it! muahahahahaha!!)

yesterday I slacked off and joined a couple forums, so today was a couple hours of plumbing followed by driving to town to buy more parts, then a couple more hours of plumbing. bleah.

tomorrow is work, buy more parts, do more plumbing -- but FRIDAY is the big woodworking tool show in KC!!!

 Hi everyone. I'm Kathy from Boynton Beach, Florida. I'm single and happily divorced since last March :yum: and I don't have any kids, although I tend to act like one myself :boobies: . I love to dance :coolshade , sing and listen to music - :thumb:

So for those of us who don't know, where is Boynton Beach? I've spent quite a bit of time vacationing in the St Augustine Beach area, a dozen trips to Orlando, and several to the Keys. Been to Miami once, ditto Palm Beach. Sarasota twice. Boynton Beach . . . never. Do you see the sun rise over the water or the sun set over the water?

lightning123, you are welcome in this zoo, too. :beer:We can use some more southern rednecks on here! You original Floridian? I'm at least 3rd generation, all the way around!

Hello lightning123,

Have fun on the forum and I'd love to know the story behind the handle "lightning123"

Good morning everyone. Thank you for all the welcomes :respect: It's nice to meet you. Boynton Beach is about 25 minutes from West Palm Beach and about an hour from Miami.

I came up with the name "lightning123" for a dating site. My catch line was "Lightning Here - Do I Hear Thunder" - guess it didn't work, cause I'm still single :moon: :pat:

I'm originally from Long Island, New York :snow2_smi: and I don't miss the cold. Moved to Florida about 10 years ago. :17875:
