Pulling the carb tomorrow morning for eithter a rebuild or a new one on my F300 straight six pros cons ???? Fuel pump is getting replaced at the same time wether it needs it or not . Really not much else to do this off season got lucky .

if you can get the cold dip solution to soak it in i would say rebuild also make shur the throttle shaft bushings arn't worn. if it's going to take more than a kit to rebuild it than it may be more cost efective just t replace it with a new one also good time to upgrade to an electric choke

The car Quest carb rebuild kit number is EC540 cost not including tax $33.00 The carb gasket that rests on the intake part number is
GSK G26163 costo $5.83

After cleaning the carb up it takes about 20min to put back together with the right tools .
