I am about to purchase a running, moving, front blades functions all work, comes with a tiller,
person is asking 5k and i am putting a deposit on it today but its a drive so it will be a few weeks before i can see the machine in person. What should I be looking for with this machine as possible problem areas? The person that is selling it is great, sent me a high rez vid of it moving all around. He did a bunch of work to the tracks and replaced a bunch of lines and cylinders, he said the tiller is unknown but previous owner said it worked great. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!

Pretty hardy machine, if the tracks have been gone over and so have the hydraulics...I would say just make sure the Hydro drives don't whine and that the electro/hydraulic track parking solenoids work. They are controlled by a small 3 way switch, like a main power switch, just to the right of and in front of the front blades t-handle control.
Engines are good and chassis is the usual. Look for cracks in the axle beams and tub.

If you or any other 3700 owners need belts I have a mixed stack of new ones with factory numbers by SnowLine from a recent cat, not a 3700, purchase. 1/2 price plus shipping. or pick up in beautiful McCall, Idaho.

Are they the 8" belts from a symmetrical or the 5" belts from he asymmetrical track? Do you know the lengths?
