My child is an honor roll student, gotten pretty much straight A's, has gone to advanced placement classes at the local university since Kindergarden on the weekends while attending a small Catholic gradeschool during the week, and it just amazes me what comes out of her mouth. I do not know where she gets this stuff

Seriously she said this to her 5th Grade teacher:
Why do you keep calling it the Civil War? Wasn't it really the War of Northern Aggression?

To the Science teacher at school:
Global warming isn't a problem, the icecaps are not melting. The water is being liberated, its spreading freedom fluid.

To the Principle at her school:
If only 1 starts with "R" why are they called the 3 R's? Is there something wrong with our school? (reading, writing, artithmatic)

Awww Bob,

You got one of them daughters. My youngest is the same way. Got an answer for everything and is always right. She will keep you on your toes.

The school system here has really gotten out of hand a few years back wth this stupid out come based education so we pulled out kids and put them in private school. They stayed there until 9th grade and then I allowed them to go back to public if they wished. My youngest has decided to stay in private but one day while visiting the public school she being in 9th and visiting a geometry/alegebra ll class that had tenth through 12 kids in it she out did the students and even the teacher. The teacher evidently was trying to explain some problem to the students and finally gave the answer and my daughter got up and told her she was wrong. Even went to the class on the chalk board and proved the teacher was wrong.

But they are daddy's girls you know so we got to love them.
