Thikol Super Imp High Country Trip

Took the Super Imp out in the deep snow today. The elevation is 10-11,000 feet. Seemed to be lacking power when trying to climb steep hill in deep snow, this was the same hill I climbed right up in the Tucker last year, but overall the machine did great and we had fun. The wind was blowing and the snow was flying but from the comforts of the cab we still enjoyed the great outdoors.

The Super Imps are great little cats. I think they are about perfect for the cabin owner! Easy to tow. Can carry all your supplies and fun to run!

Mike I think you are right about the super imp being a very good cat for cabin access . Just put all of your stuff in it and on it and go . One of few snow cats you can trailer easy. Just wish they had @ 50% more power then they would be perfect.

I just wish they had more room... a friend has one and says that based on the amount of cargo it really affects performance and the float factor is very sensitive...which makes sense given the relative light weight. Also, multi-pass is so important and it seems that so many SImps are 2-pass. I have only ever seen one 4/5-pass SImp that has the rear deck on back as well... the perfect combo...cargo and multi-pass... saw it only on youtube. Owner had no interest in selling. It looked factory as well...not some after market strap on. ;)

Thanks for the response guys. We had fun, the weather was pretty bad that day so we did not go too far. Thinking about taking it up again this weekend, it is supposed to be sunny. Should be a good day for running it. I have two more Imps for sale if you know anyone that needs one.

Hey Wakeup you would not happen to have a full cab imp laying around would you ?:whistling::whistling: I have a two person cab now, but think a full cab would fit my needs better.:unsure::unsure: If so send me some pictures !

Cabinboy,

I only have 2 imps, but they are both two man cabs. One has a blade, needs a little track work. The other seems to be in good condition and they both seem to run good. They have 400 and 300 hours. If you know someone else that might be interested let me know.

Here a few pics of the ones I have that I will sell. Overall they are in good condition and are complete.
