BOB,
Can you try and contact Boggie for me or Sharpe Engineering. I need two tires/ rims and foam filled or air but preferr foam filled. I picked up some wire on the trail into Delta 12 and it wrapped around one of my boggies and broke the rim. I have a spare and am putting it on. I can get out ok but need to have some spares to continue our expeditions. Also see if they have some belting splices. The belting is for a Super Imp Wide Track. The belts are 9 1/2" wide by ALMOST 3/8 thick and I need 16" pieces. I need 6 but will take whatever they have. I will even take anything that is close. If they dont have the right size then some other sizes will work for temp repairs. My VISA credit card # is **************** exp **/** and sec code is ***. Have them over night it to Orofino ID to the Best Western there please. Sat phone is useless! Hope you get this. Digging out the vault (not charging) VSAT up and working good of course. Charging those batteries now.

PM and phone call out to Boggie, but no response yet. This location isn't too far from Wallace, ID. You out there Snowcat Pat? Anyone else have these parts laying around that they can ship out tomorrow-ish?

Bob And Mike ,
I wish you luck but I do not believe anything can be shipped overnite to Orofino . Elk City is very close and the best we usally get is 2-3 days !

Have Mike call Snowtrans in Weiser . He may have what you need .

Guthrie is next on my list (I just left him a message). I also think SnoOps 'overnight' request is not likely, which is why I'm looking for 'ship out tomorrow-ish'. Man, if only Yetti was out there and available! :yum:

Thanks for the vid. We went up to the cabin in the snow trac today. Your video reminds me of why my ears are still ringing! These things are friggin' loud, aren't they? Sounds like your day was more exciting than ours. My excitement was hoping to get pulled over by Border Patrol but no luck.

Do they bother you because you are running around in a snow cat or because your cabin is by the border?

It never ceases to amaze me how much you Slow Master owners exaggerate. I suppose this is the tree you had to extricate yourself from...hmmmm? :poke:

The only trees the yetti has rubbed paint with are the ones you have it propped up on to work on.
Does that thing even know where the woods are?

Got a SPOT message from Mikey about 45mins ago. He made it out to Avery which is probably where the truck and trailer were parked.

He still has a couple hour drive, unless he stays in the bar in Avery.........which can be very interesting

I wouldn't expect BigA to let his Yetti rub against any trees, that was an expensive paint job! I guess we Kristi owners will leave all the 'tree rubbing' to you Slow Masters. We don't even want to know why you do it.

I guess it is the old adage "Because WE can "

Yeah, both. For some reason, they don't think I should be driving the snowcat on the ice road to nowhere that they patrol. We got a bunch more of these guys as part of "Homeland Security" after 9/11. I don't think they've nabbed any arab terrorists on snowshoes, but they did nail a troop of BC'ers smuggling weed on their snowmobiles.

Yep Bob, I do in fact where my NHLPA toque with the maple leaf and "CANADA" on it. Maybe that's part of the problem.

I can let the toque slide, but if you start wearing a Montreal Canadiens jersey, there's gonna be trouble! :yum:

SnoOps is outa the woods and in St. Maries. Heading for (or should that be limping to) Orofino tomorrow. Still no spare parts to be had yet. Thanks to those who rummaged around their garages for parts anyway.
