The "greenies" want to ban lead sinkers and buck-shot

I'm thinking that one needs to have 1,000 rounds of ALL one's favorite caliber/gauge before they come after bullets, too. And a healthy supply of tins of one's favorite bullets and powders, and of course PRIMERS. Sure, I know that gaining enough more supplies to take it to 1,000 each might be a chore. But how much will all of it be worth when there ain't no more?? The NYStock exchange in commodities is showing a bust out at the top of the present value for copper and gold. I can never buy enough gold. But if copper goes high, so does brass, and so does bullets! I traded one box of 20 Winchester silvertip .45 for a tank of gas earlier this year. Also bartered a Morgan Dollar -- VERY circulated -- for 23gal. of diesel. PRECIOUS METALS. You betcha!

I've got the ammo covered and enough components to reload them again at least once. But if the present folks in washington have their way even gold will be worthless.

By making it illegal to own like they did when they took the US off the gold standard. Back then you could only own a small amount, it was to protect the US dollar. Sure you could hoard it but who is going to give you anything for it, how will they know it's real, its purity, etc. if someone walked up to you and offered you a hunk of gold colored metal in trade for something that you had worked to produce would you give them several hundred dollars worth of your product for 1 ounce of that unknown shinney metal? I wouldn't. Hell with all the conterfiting going on now most places won't take anything larger than a $20 bill, even banks have a hard time deciding if bill are real or not.

"Greenies" and lead.

Value-less gold is far from reality. If the U.S. hadn't gone off the Gold Standard we would not be in the current shape we're in. Nearly all the instances of gold being turned in to the gov't at its demand were of cowards or liberals (but I repeat myself.) Most gold coins in circulation right now are from mint-dates BEFORE the confiscation date. They simply were "buried" and turned in later. Question for us to ponder: When the demand comes for us, individually, to turn in every firearm we own, what will we do?? I guess there is always that Great Lake Michigan Boating Incident! Red.
